 When
Lisa S. Newman founded Holistic Animal Care in 1982, very little was
known about natural health care for pets. Concerned over her own pets'
health problems, she found few answers through traditional avenues
so she drew upon her education in human nutrition, homeopathy and
alternative care and set out to research and develop safe, effective
programs for all pets.
Today Lisa's work and reputation are internationally renowned. A lack of quality and truly natural pet supplements and an overwhelming sense of betrayal by products that fell far short of their advertising claims, led Lisa to create her own product line in 1988. These products have since helped address many health and behavioral issues when other alternative or medical approaches have failed.

Today,
Azmira Holistic Animal Care is one of the few companies whose products
are formulated by an experienced natural products researcher, as
opposed to a person concerned with "product development and
marketing" or someone who "knows ingredients" but
with very little experience using them successfully with animals.
